Time again for another section. The friends part feels like the best edit to me personally. It seems more friendly than anything and everyone seems to enjoy watching it more than any other section. Maybe cause they are in it, d-bags. Frank's video is up too and its a good one. Hopefully it will motivate Nate to get out there and film more and for Bob to move back and not be a pussy. Weed. 420.

So recently eddie of 5050bmx decided that his gang (which only consists of only himself) TEAM GREEN is declaring war on TEAM ORANGE (all of the OCGC kids and some). Well anyhow he just had surgery on his knee so we are waiting for it to get better so we can kick his ASS! DON'T FUCK WITH ORANGE!

as im sure everyone knows by now. jimmy fell extremely hard on his head while skateboarding a few weeks back. he had been in a coma until just a few days ago and now needs our help. everyone knows that jimmy is a bad ass on a bike. but hes also one of the coolest, most down to earth people ive ever met. hes been one of my idols ever since road fools 1 , and now its crazy that i can call him a friend. this whole situation bums me out. this year has been rough for bike riders it seems. smokers situation, steven murrey, brandon, and now jimmy. its cool that the bmx community has been stepping up and showing the support that it has. if you would like to help out in jimmys case heres some words sandy carson emailed me w. how to help and a quick update on jimmys condition Just a quick update on Jimmy's progress and his fund raising so far since his accident. The good news is that Jimmy has been progressing pretty well since he came out his coma last week and sounds better each time I talk to him on the phone. He has been transferred from the ICU at Morristown Memorial Hospital to the JFK Brain Rehabilitation Institute and is up, shuffling around and piecing his memory back together. It'll be a long road to recovery but we are lucky that he is in the best rehab center for his injuries and has great friends behind him. The bad news is that Jimmy's insurance WILL NOT cover his rehab program which he just checked into. The estimated total of the rehab bills is estimated at $70,000 at least and that's coming out of his family's pocket. As you know EmpireBMX is matching donations to the Jimmy fund and now Odyssey is matching what Empire matches, so we are talking trippling whatever you donate! The Empire fund match ends at the end of the business day on Friday so if you haven't donated to the fund already, now would be the time to do it! I'm popping my blogger virginity right now. I don't have much to say other than the Team Dilly video has been uploaded to Google, thanks to John Proppe. It's a video produced by the controversial Kyle Stark, filmed in my former home/scene of Minnesota, with appearances from Landon Anderson, Kyle Stark, Cody Snuggles and celebrities like Josh Clancy and internet phenom Charlie Crumlish, among others. I'd give you a full rundown of everyone in the video, but I haven't watched since the summer. Oh yeah, yours truly has a few clips in there. Enjoy.

Last weekend was the Fort contest. This year was probably the smallest one out of the 12 years that the contest has been going, but the riding was still real good. Everyone seemed to be having fun so thats always good. Jackson jr made a little edit of the contest, and riding during the weekend, it should be up later. Oh yeah.. results. Sean won everything except street best trick.

Eat a shitload, and go ride the parks. Today is the best day of the year to ride all the parks you usually cant.

So last night they premiered the 5050 video in downtown salt lake. It was pretty sick they threw out about a million things so the kids were beyond stoked. Um guess I will just do a run down. +Matt Berringers part will make you die laughing +the intro to Cams part will scare people it is gnarlly bonedeath +Rob Wise does the biggest bunnyhop gap ever 20ft plus +Roskelly does real sweet unique stuff +Elfs bangers were for sure banging +one tailwhip in the whole video (Sorry chadWHIP! jk) +Dave Thompson will for sure blow minds super stylish street shredding +Mike Aitken should simply just put street parts together from here on out, its too good +Skier Jays part is interesting artsy fartsy status +Fuzzy Hall has a part! (that alone should get you to buy it) +Idk whats going on with all these bmx videos but they are really starting to be edited well +Montage is cool kinda wish it had a few more clips of local riders but what can you do when people dont send in shit I guess. This is the second section of the video, a split part with Sam Buros, Mike Vakula, and Brandon Straub. Sam(not the elephant) is sitting next to me as I type this and he doesn't want the video to go up. Too bad. Talk shit!

Besides the little kid bikes, a few of us also ride fixies. I started so I could ride to the bar and not have to drive home, and now I pretty much ride it instead of drive my car. There are a few crews of kids who all ride fixies throughout phx so we decided to make a gang called The Daggers. The weekend before halloween we threw a race/party (honestly more party than race) called The Dagger Death Race.

It was a basic alleycat race where you get a map of checkpoints you have to go to. You could take any route you wanted and at each checkpoint you had to either get a stamp after completing a task, or get something to show that you were there. For example, a few of the stops included riding through a cemetary and taking a rubbing of a gravestone, run down a tunnel that went 1/4 mile under the 202 to get a bone, and shotgun a beer, spin around in a circle a few times and throw some shit at a barn, if you missed.. repeat til you hit it. The race ended at Sunset Clothing Exchange where we partied and a band played. Shit was awesome. Heres a video of some of the race:

I have two for two different reasons...Sean Sexton is amazing and Johnny Stevens is a badass.

All the kids that can flair, whip and flip but can't manual.

-Many people hold you in high regards due to incredible bike skills, have you ever gotten burnt out on your bike?
A couple years back I didnt touch my bike for like 4 or 5 months due to partying...I got my head on straight now and I want to ride my bike like every day.

-How long have you been doing video stuff?
I did it all through high school but I never had any of my own equipment until the last year or so.

-Do you enjoy it so far?
Very much so...but my girlfriend hates it.

-Why are you helping out with the website?
Trying to motivate the new generation of bike riders by giving them some exposure.

-What would you like to see come out of the website?
A six figure salary...haha.

Can't say I am.

-Do you miss living in Tempe?
Only when I feel like riding campus...or getting drunk then riding my bike home.

All you young kids ride as much as you can cuz believe it or not as you get older it gets harder and harder to ride your bike when you want too.

Well folks, it's that time of the year again. Fort McDowell brings you The Fort. Last years contest was pretty wild. If I can remember right, just about all of San Diego got kicked out by a cop driving a hummer with 26" spinners for tearing down one of the fences. Hopefully we'll be able to say the same thing about this years. The Riggs family has been putting in work making the trails rideable and Ryan from Kore put down some prizes for all the am's. As for Pro, let's all hope Sober Steve doesn't blow it.
