so ive been playing around w/ this idea of doing a contest and im wondering if there will be enough interest to do it. basically the idea behind the contest is a crew battle/ web edit. youd have a few weeks ( probably over spring break) to ride, film, and edit a web video. submit them to me , and well put them up on here.. whoever gets the most votes for best edit wins. ( ill def get some product to the winners ) the questions i have are.. does everyone have access to a camera,someone to film and edit? would you all be into doing it? i think it would be rad to see the different crews from across the valley and state shred, everyone rides alot of individual spots and in different styles, it would be awesome to see them all together. lets get some feedback..

I guess Tom White and Edwin were in AZ recently and they filmed a little edit for DC. I know Drew and Smoker are in it and maybe a few other people who's names I don't know. But anyways its a good edit and Smoker does the coolest grind down a ledge. I guess the spot they were riding in the video below is in my hood cuz it sure sounds ghetto enough. Let Tom White explain what I'm talking about.

so while doing a search for loofas family members, i ran across this guy. clearly no relation to loofa( based on how awesome he is) . but hes so bad ass i have to post it.

It looks like all of the shredding Drew has been doing has got him noticed and now he is riding for Mirraco and what looks like Demolition as well. He has a bike check up on Vital that you can check out here with his new whip. Congrats man you deserve it.

The new RideUK is going to be out tomorrow and is going to have an article on the Kink trip through the southwest(mostly AZ). Anytime AZ gets coverage I'm siked. This is a picture of what looks to be the article that is to be printed. I am glad to see that Ray and Jesse(top left) have got a picture. They are two of the nicest guys in the AZ scene and everyone should be thanking them for everything they've done.

saw smoker a couple weeks ago at glendale and he looked awesome, was riding, and generally psyched on life. at that point he didnt know if all of the treatments worked and got the cancer 100% out of his body, but since then he has been cleared. and he is 100% clear of the cancer he had. i couldnt be happier for dave and his family. and its good to have dave back and kickin ass. congrats dave!! he posted this video on my myspace.... Ben posted something about Pat a while back but incase you didn't catch it. I run through it real quick. Pat Tinnell was a rider out of Lake Havasu who was K.I.A. in Iraq. The city of Havasu though the best way to honor him for making the ultimate sacrifice is to build a skate/bike park. They are still working on the funding and logistics but when its done it'll be the biggest park in the sate at over 40,000sq ft.
