so, as hopefully all of you witnessed, Saturday night was a HUGE success, id like to thank everyone who braved the rain, the fixed gears, the drunks, and the rest of us retards that were always in the way and came out and supported Ryan and Sara. I always go into the events we do at Kore, or anywhere else for that matter, never thinking as many people are going to show up as they do. This time really blew me away w/ the amount of people and how generous everyone was. so THANK YOU, I hope everyone had as much fun as i did. Id like to specifically thank billy for hauling out the box jump for everyone to ride, as well as bahlman for bringing the rail, upledge and super launch ramp.hah. you guys made the night! and just in case anyone cares.. the winners of the best trick contests ( that were ran as loose as possible being that the night was more about everyone hanging out, riding, drinking, having fun, and ryan and sara than anything) are... Dustin won the box jump, as he flipped, whipped, and supermanned his way to the win, and zuka won the upledge challange with a truck off the top and a feeble hard 180 barspin. hopefully this week some photos and video will show up. ill post them when they do.. now heres some words from Ryan and Sara - kc
We wanted to thank you for all the support for our benefit jam .The raffle and shirt sales raised over $3000.00 for Saras medical expenses . Yesterday was the first day in a long time that we could afford all of Saras medication . Words cannot express our gratitude .
sincerely

Every time I ride with Rilabetes he is always doing these back tire slides, back tire air whips on steep quarters and super moto-sliders under things. I'm not calling him out because its cool to see. I just thought it was his thing. But it seems like the different riding is a Utah thing too. Riley only has one clip in is edit but I now where he gets some of his riding influences.
I'm not going to give you a story about the benefit last night, I'll leave that up to KC. But I do wanna give him and everyone else a shout out for putting in work to make the benefit to success. Way to look out for two of the nicest people the scene guys.
Ray’s daughter, Chelsey has a big event on the 26th from 4-10 at ASU west. Its a promo for ASU and Ray and Michelle’s Non-profit, Wheels In Motion. There is mini street course that Sean, Smoker, Drew and others are doing a demos on. There will be some giveaways from S&M and Profile. A lot of other things going on so check out the link to everything else here. We owe it to the Tellez family to come out and show support for everything they’ve done for the scene.
But you can always creep on some cute ASU girls while you're there. Say you’re friends with the guys doing the demo, maybe it’ll work.
Any questions ask in the comments.

In March, 2008 our friend Sara Cowling was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Through an initial procedure in October, 2008 and all your help with The Saturday Showdown, she was doing much better. It has come to light that she will need a second operation to hopefully end the continuing seizures and memory loss that still lingers from the tumor. Due to a horrible insurance situation, the Cowling family must finance the entire procedure and all associated costs themselves with no assistance. Let’s help our friends Ryan and Sara and show them that they are not alone in this. The Showdown… part II. this year for bmx. we will have the upledge and launch ramp again. as well as a box jump. and maybe some more things to ride. come hang out. eat some food, drink some beverages and support 2 of the nicest people in the scene!
Frank jessy and I rolled out to the park opening in picture rocks AZ today ( just north of tucson) and aside from it being SUPER packed. and getting vibed from a few skaters. it was awesome. park is super fun, all the locals ( and non locals) were beyond cool to ride w/ and it was amazing that such a small desert town has a sweet park to ride. big ups to the locals that got that park going for bmx, and super big thanks to chongo and joe for hooking me up w/ a tube and tools after i cased the shit out of the hip and got a flat.
cheers!
Sean and Darryl give their commentary on their parts in Kink's Safety First. If you don't care to hear what they have to say will watch it, you can still see their sections
Recently Prescott local Steven Bagby graduated from Handsome Boy Modeling School and signed with Ford Modeling agency, he built a FACEBOOK
fan page to build up his fan base. Everyone should add it! Be on the look out for him in a recent Toyota ad showing that though in fact Toyota is recalling their brakes, they still do provide lots of great stopping power. Should be aired on BET or E!

Mike at Clicked has a street Jam going down in March. Same idea Street Fighter roll around with a bunch of people and ride stuff. But Mike has a lot of product instead of booze for throwing down. If its anything like Street Fighter or Ham Jam is gonna be good. If you need any more info hit up Mike at Clicked. If I get more info I'll post it here too.
I have another edit from Jonny in Iowa. Since he moves back and fourth between Iowa and Arizona it counts as related content. Also he found a youtube video about what Iowa is like in the summer that seemed to humor him.

Well in Mesa there is a new indoor park that is skateboards only. It looks fun too bad we're not allowed. Here is the site if you'd like to torment yourself looking at what we can't ride.
